Building Business and Community in Jacksonville

Tom Barrow Company’s Jacksonville branch has been busy at work and in the community, providing solutions for some large projects, sponsoring a local charity tournament, and offering several remote customer training events! Having served the Northeast Florida and portions of the Southwest Georgia markets since 1965, the TBCo Jacksonville branch has established itself as an expert resource in the HVAC industry and as an active member of the community.

Sales Focus

The team delivered their first Petra unit in the Jacksonville area earlier this year, with Tom Goodnight overseeing the delivery and installation to an area Hyatt Hotel. The installation proceeded smoothly, and the owner and contractor are so pleased with the quality and performance of the RTU that a second unit has been ordered! Another unit is on order for the Sun Terrace, at the University of Florida, for the fall of 2021. TBCo Jacksonville is excited to be offering this new product line and making it available to customers.

Customer Outreach

TBCo Jacksonville was pleased to host several Yaskawa Roadshow remote training sessions this spring, spearheaded by TBCo Outside Sales Engineers, Tom Goodnight and Braughton Webb. With a combined total of 70 attendees, the Roadshow was held in six locations, including the Mayo Clinic and Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville, and University of Florida and Shand’s Hospital in Gainesville, FL, to name a few. Live demos were provided covering user-requested topics, making these events particularly relevant and timely.

Caring for Our Communities

The Jacksonville crew recently sponsored the Wolfson Children’s Hospital Annual Bass Tournament in Palatka Florida for the 12th year in a row. This annual charity event raised over $400,000 for the C. Herman and Mary Virginia Terry Heart Institute at Wolfson Children's Hospital and will fund life-saving equipment and technology. www.wolfsonbasstournament.com

The Jacksonville branch has shown they are committed to building business, customer relationships, and fostering community. This team is doing lots of great things!
