This month we’re featuring Jeremy Harris, our TBCo VP and Memphis Branch Manager who has been on the Tom Barrow Company team for 29 years.
When asked what makes the Memphis branch unique, Jeremy shared that TBCo Memphis is the only branch that actively services counties in three different states and went on to describe his pride in the team. “I am most proud of the people that we have in the branch. We knit together well. We strive to maintain a “no blame” culture where we focus on solving problems and improving our skills. Relentless customer service, integrity, and expertise are deeply woven into the fabric of what we feel is the formula for success.”
The St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s Outpatient Clinic Building (OCB) is a recent project that he and the Memphis team are especially excited about. Jeremy shared, “It has been a privilege to be able to provide mission critical air handling units to various buildings on the St. Jude campus for many years. The OCB, currently under construction, has custom air handling units designed by Temtrol. We feel the engineering and quality behind the design and construction of these units will contribute to the St. Jude mission to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. No child is denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family's ability to pay. We are honored and proud to be part of this mission.”
Outside of work, you’ll find Jeremy spending time with his wife of 28 years, Kimberly, and their three boys, going to church, exercising, traveling, and barbecuing. He also gives his time to the local community, various charities, and professional organizations. These volunteer activities include serving as a respite foster care parent and serving on the industry advisory board for mechanical engineering at Christian Brothers University. He is also Commissioner of Ozark Acres, located in Williford, AR, and is an active member of ASHRAE and ASHE.
