According to the 2020 census, Southwest Florida is one of the fastest growing areas in the country, which comes as no surprise to the TBCo Fort Myers crew. The transition and growth in the area is apparent, as new construction projects continue to pop up all over the region.
This population growth has created a need for new schools, and the Fort Myers team had the opportunity to work on two new schools, a middle school and a high school, in their local school district, Lee County.
These schools opened their doors for the 2021-22 school year. Working with the engineers, architects, and contractors, the TBCo team designed and supplied many products needed for these projects, including AmpCo grease duct, DuctSox, Price sound attenuators and air distribution, Loren Cook fans, Ruskin dampers, Powered Aire air curtains, and Ultra Aire dehumidifiers.
One of the more noticeable construction projects in the area is Topgolf, a multi-level sports entertainment venue in Fort Myers. TBCo’s Fort Myers’ office is proudly supplying many of the HVAC products, including Reznor unit heaters, Price air distribution, Ruskin fire dampers, spiral ducts, and air curtains.
Caring for Our Community
The Fort Myers’ branch recently supported the Lee BIA Builders Care Bricks and Sticks Fishing Tournament. This annual charity event raised money to provide emergency construction services at no cost to needy and deserving elderly and/or disabled homeowners and their families who cannot obtain repairs through traditional means. https://www.bia.net/about-lee-bia-builders-care
“TBCo Fort Myers is both humbled and proud to know we play a role in the development of our community as it quickly grows around us. With a strong commitment to customer service, product training, and community outreach we look forward to growing with it,” shares Woody Wilson, VP and Branch Manager, TBCo Fort Myers.
This TBCo team is committed to taking great care of customers and their community!
