This month we’re featuring TBCo VP and Tampa Branch Manager, Cyril John.
Cyril joined the TBCo Tampa team 7 ½ years ago, and he continues to grow in his role, along with the company. “I am proud to be a part of a company that is constantly pushing to grow and innovate. Being stagnant is not an option. However, as we grow, our guiding principles have stayed constant; integrity, accountability, respect, and continual development,” said Cyril.
When asked what makes the Tampa branch special, Cyril said, “Our team is built around serving our customers and giving them the best experience. Our office has a 20,000+ sq ft warehouse, allowing them to quickly get the materials they need. Our customers want to work with us, not only because of the excellent products we represent, but also the service we bring.”
He also called out the TBCo Tampa training center as a unique feature of the branch. “We have a large training room with mockup equipment demos that we utilize to teach our engineers and train our customers.” The training center regularly hosts two-day GREE Factory Training classes, as well as other professional development opportunities and TBCo team trainings.
When asked about recent projects, Cyril called out multi-family high-rises. “This has been a growing market in the Tampa/St. Pete region. We are close to completing a multi-family high-rise in downtown Tampa called 101 N Meridian.” This project showcases a full product offering – Price Air Distribution, Cook Fans, GREE VRF, Yaskawa VFDs, and a Petra 160-ton DOAS Unit.
Outside of work, he likes watching Saturday college football and rooting for the Seminoles – “GO NOLES!” However, most of his free time is spent having fun with his daughters, Arya and Zuri, with plenty of time at Disney World. As foodies, Cyril and his wife also enjoy checking out the ever-growing Tampa/St. Pete restaurant scene.
