This month we’re featuring Kevin Ruegger, our TBCo VP and Atlanta Branch Manager who joined Tom Barrow Company in 2019 and has a total of 28 years in the HVAC industry.
Kevin's enthusiasm was clear when asked what makes the Atlanta branch unique. “Everything! Our team likes to be innovative when finding ways to help our customers. Whether it’s learning a new product line or finding a new process to help with quotes, the Atlanta branch is consistently striving to improve and find ways to serve our customers.”
The team’s high level of customer service is a point of pride for Kevin. “We are fortunate to have an experienced team that knows what it takes to win in a competitive environment. We may not take the same approach every time, but ultimately our high level of service sets us apart, and our customers choose to work with us.”
The Atlanta team recently undertook a challenging project at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, engaging in extensive interviews with key decision makers to demonstrate that Tom Barrow Company was the ideal partner for the project. "Throughout the project, we actively collaborated with numerous clients, attentively addressing their individual requirements. As a result of our efforts, we successfully secured the opportunity and achieved a favorable outcome," states Kevin.
On a personal note, Kevin and his wife, Jennifer have a fun first meeting story. Kevin tore his ACL during a ski trip, explaining, “Snow skiing just wasn’t very popular growing up in Florida.” His wife was a nurse who helped with his recovery, and now, they have two kids and two dogs!
Outside of work, Kevin enjoys traveling with this family and playing golf. “My best opening round was in 2023 at Pebble Beach. I birdied the first hole and made an eagle on the second hole. Three under par after two holes was an amazing feeling. I finished the day with a 79,” he shared.
