Duct Furnaces

Duct furnaces are utilized for space heating applications when additional heat sources are needed. Reznor’s full line of duct furnaces can be customized for total heating system designs. The company’s gas-fired heating coils can be installed into an air handling unit to create a gas-powered heating section. They can also replace steam and hot water coils in existing units and plenum systems to enable changeover from a central boiler plant to decentralized gas-fired systems.

Reznor EEDU

Reznor's EEDU indoor duct furnaces, with 80% thermal efficiency, were developed to provide an annual fuel use improvement of up to 25% when compared with gravity-vented duct furnaces.

The use of a factory-installed power venter, with metered combustion air, limits burner flue losses while reducing the required vent pipe size.

A sealed vent product collection chamber, in lieu of a draft diverter, reduces the loss of dilution air from the room in both the on and off cycles.

Key features of the EEDU

  • Available for natural and LP gas
  • Thermocore® aluminized steel heat exchanger with venturi-design tubes
  • Intermittent spark pilot
  • Single-stage 24-volt gas valve
  • Aluminized steel heat exchanger
  • Aluminized steel burners with stainless steel insert
  • 120-volt supply voltage
  • Factory-installed power venter

The EEDU can be used in many markets including:

  • Commercial
  • Institutional
  • Industrial Manufacturing
  • Warehouse/Distribution

Reznor SC

Reznor's SC separated combustion, gas-fired duct furnaces are designed to separate their combustion air from the air in the heated space.

The separated combustion furnace is designed for use in building areas with negative pressure and/or extremely dirty or mildly corrosive atmospheres.

As the leading pioneer in separated combustion technology; these units are designed and manufactured in accordance with the ANSI definition of "separate combustion." Using outside combustion air prevents dirt, lint, dust, or other contaminants in the heated space from entering the combustion zone of the furnace.

Key features of the SC

  • Available for natural and LP gas
  • 80% thermal efficient
  • Intermittent spark pilot
  • Single-stage 24-volt gas valve
  • Aluminized steel heat exchanger
  • Aluminized burners with a stainless-steel insert
  • 115-volt supply voltage
  • 115-volt venter motor with stainless steel shaft
  • 24-volt control voltage transformer

The SC can be used in many markets including:

  • Showrooms
  • Workshops
  • Schools
  • Hospital/Medical
  • Sports Facilities
  • Water Treatment
  • Industrial Manufacturing
  • Warehouse/Distribution
  • Food & Beverage
